Our next meeting is this Saturday, July 13th at St Paul’s Methodist Church at 1660 Grandview Ave, Reno, Nv.
We set up around 10:00am, have coffee, tea and breakfast treats while we visit.
The meeting begins around 11:00am. Bring a lunch for after the meeting if you wish. And don’t forget your Show and Tell projects or fun Info you might have to offer. Our Learning Tree this month is all about the process of washing fibers.
I felt this photo of one of our members whom past was so fitting of this months learning tree. I don’t think she hardly ever missed a meeting. She had offered so much to the Fiber Arts. I miss her so much!
PS: Just so everyone is thinking ahead. Our meeting in August will be held at the Black Rock Mountain Fiber Mill & Alpaca Farm in Fernley, Nv. It’s always so much fun to see how the fiber is processed and see all the alpacas and other animals on the farm. And there little store is filled with all kind of fiber fun you might wish to take home.
